Aldo Tolino

Aldo Tolino photographs mainly people. He then distorts them by printing out the photographs and and folding and crumpling them in different ways to create intresting effects of the faces looking unusual, he then takes a photo of the folded picture. This creates a very intresting look most of the way he folds them gives the portraits a feel of them being real faces. Most of the photos are on a plain background this means the background won't be twisted and look odd as the photograph of the face is distorted. The lighting on all his photos is very bright and crisp making the photos look good. I might try and use this style of folding up the images to distort them as it makes people seem unhuman.
